Bring in a little extra $$

Money

We all use it, we all could use a little more of it. I bet you probably have done some searching on ways to make money online, I know I have. It’s not easy to find legitimate ways to make money on the internet.

I have a few ways I make a little extra money online that pretty much anyone can do. It’s not going to make you rich overnight, but if you need a little extra for Christmas or want that special outfit keep reading

Swagbucks: I’ve been using Swagbucks for a few years now. Only recently did I really start using it.  It doesn’t take long and it really does pay off.

As you know I homeschool my children, so while we are sitting at the table I’ll start up my computer and get to earning some Swagbucks. When the kids are doing work on their own and don’t need me asap I’ll take some surveys. I always do the daily “to do list” offers. I’ve missed some days, and I don’t do it on the weekends.

So far I’ve earned 1,000 Swagbucks which equals a $10 amazon gift card.  I did this in just 6 days!! I’m a little surprised by that.  A few months ago 1,000 was my average.  So I am really going to try my hardest to keep this going. My goal this month is to get a $25 Amazon gift card. If I keep going at this rate I’ll smash that goal. 🙂

My plan is to get some things for Fathers day and our Anniversary in June.

You can also get their mobile apps. I use them when I remember.  You can print coupons with them and earn 10 Swagbucks per coupon used! Some stores you shop online with will also earn you Swagbucks, although I haven’t tried that yet.

If you don’t have Swagbucks it is really worth checking out.

Ebay: If you’re crafty or just have some extra things laying around, you can turn that into cash with eBay.  I’ve made a couple hundred this year alone just listing one or two things a week.

I’m NOT crafty at all, so I sell some things from around the house that we don’t need or use anymore.

So that’s what I do so bring in a little extra.

Below are some ideas I’ve heard from other places.

Etsy: I have seen so many things I wanted to buy on here! Sadly almost everything I’ve ever wanted to get was either not my size or out of stock, then I forget to check back.

Childcare: If you are already at home with your kids and want to take on watching other kids, this is perfect.  I don’t do this, mainly because I’m homeschooling and do not want to take on more than I can handle. Now if my kids are all able to work on their own and don’t need me for school I might consider looking into this.

Handyperson/Housecleaner: Are you pretty handy? Can you clean? Why not do both? If you can change light fixtures, replace doorknobs, other small things like that, why not market your services. I’m sure there is a market out there for someone who can do small household repairs and clean all at the same time.

Transcription: This job is listening to an audio file, and then typing out what it said. Most companies pay per audio minute. Typing skills and listening are very important. There are basic transcription and medical transcription. Most companies want you to have previous experience.  I personally do not have any experience with transcription jobs. I’m not comfortable listing any websites at this time. If you have a company that you work with or know of feel free to comment.

These are just a few, What are your “go to” ways to earn extra money? Have a special tip or trick? I’d love to hear it!
